This video is a parody of the theme song from American Animated Super Hero Cartoon "The Powerpuff Girls" created by Craig McCracken. The characters are swapped with Edgy characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise.

Back in 2020 I came up with an idea for a Sonic Fan Fiction episode where Shadow the Hedgehog (from Sonic Adventure 2) teams up with Mephiles the Dark (from Sonic '06), and Infinite (from Sonic Forces 2017) and the defeat Sonic the Hedgehog. The opening was going to be a parody of the powerpuff girls intro. Over time I started to realize the plot was well made and the edgy characters weren't as funny as I thought they would be, but the opening intro still seemed like a good idea.

Two days ago "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" was released with Ben Schwartz returning as Sonic, Jim Carrey returning as Dr.Robotnick / Dr.Eggman, Colleen O'Shaughnessy returning as Miles "Tails" Prower, and Idris Elba returning as Knuckles the Echidna. The big thing about this third movie is it introduces Keanu Reeves as Shadow the Hedgehog as the main antagonist. There are a lot of refrences to "Sonic Adventure (2001)" and "Shadow the Hedgehog (2005)" with a big return to the "Edgy" Sonic Era of the 2000's. I decided it would be a good time to bring the idea. I realized that the theme song could work on it's own as it's own stand alone video. It would be much faster to finish this 48 second cartoon rather than a 10 minute project like the last Sonic Fan Fiction.
